About Us:

Kim's Online Creations originated with Rent-A-Stork in 1999 during my recuperation from back surgery. When I awoke in the hospital on January 11, 1999, I felt like a new person - happy, so alive, and not in pain! I used my many hours of rehab to dream of a way to retire from my 9-to-5 and juggle parenting with a home business. I wanted to be creative dealing with happy people. Who's happier than new parents celebrating a newborn?!

So I created an adorable welcome home stork that would make people smile. I added a personalized keepsake that families can treasure for years to come. We spend approximately two hours caring for each plaque. We hand-paint all lettering and detailed stenciling, which includes: hearts, rattles, bears and baby bottles.

Our good friends, Barb and Jeff, were our first customers in August 1999. Since then we have grown and changed our name to Stork Headquarters. We pride ourselves on delivering impeccable service and premium workmanship. We have helped hundreds of Harford and Baltimore County families commemorate the arrival of their newborns and newly adopted. Kim's Online Creations and Stork Headquarters gives me the opportunity to share my unique creations with many smiling people beyond my local reach.

We all should cherish the moment! Think about it. You know your birth date, but do you know what time you were born? Do you know how much you weighed and how long you were? Bet'cha don't! Bet'cha our little clients will!

Kimberly Kordela - Chief Flock Officer, WAHM Kim's Online Creations and Stork Headquarters is owned and operated by me, Kimberly Kordela, a work at home mother (WAHM) of two beautiful daughters. Choosing to swap careers in this way wasn't easy, but the corporate sector can't match my bonus plan of hearing the girls tell me "You're the Beast ... I mean best" (it's a family joke).

My husband, Jeff, has helped me tremendously with his wisdom and savvy business guidance. Without him, Kim's Online Creations and Stork Headquarters would not have taken wing such that it has. Thanks Jeff and CFO Consultancy!
